Mapua Show

the easter show at Mapua was great, we ended up spending nearly the whole day there and had great fun. the boys got airbrushed tattos and have been trying to pass them off as real lol. I met up with my cousin and her family and spent a bit of time with them before wandering off  with Katie and the boys and looking at the many stalls and stuff. it was a beautiful day, not to hot and very relaxing despite the crowd. we even let Katie get out of the stroller and have a wander around a few times. we ended up following her all over the place for a while lol. it was great and of course we took lots of photos for me to scrap.

the rest of the weekend has been quiet. Katie discovered that chocolate is great and i had to hid her easter egg from her to stop her eating the lot and making herself sick. she was so funny, trying to steal Stevies easter egg as well as eat her own.

its another beautiful day today so i might see if the boys want to go to Tahuna this afternoon for a walk on the beach and maybe take Katie to the zoo. Tori’s still pretty sick so he might not want to go. he’s still in bed, lucky bugga lol. i’ve been up since 6.30 and I am tired already.  so we may end up staying home today, see what happens. anyway its time madam went down for a nap and i got into the housework sigh, a mothers work is never done.

as for me, well its just me and the kids but we are off to the Mapua easter fair on Sunday but beyond that, nothing planned. we all have colds and are generally feeling yuk so will be sticking close to home. the boys have another yogio competition tomorrow so i get another afternoon of peace and hopefully a chance to scrapbook if i am lucky. i have a pile of photos just waiting to be done that have been sitting on my desk for ages.

Jodi called tonight, this is our first easter appart for years. hes happy but gets homesick at times, especially holidays like this. i miss him like crazy but hes got to find his own way in life. he will be coming home in December for a while, a few months hopefully. him and char want to go fruit picking over next summer. that doesnt stop me from missing him, hes still my baby boy even if he is 18. but he could at least send his mother some photos! lol

anyways i am tired and want to get some layout ideas before i go to bed, incase i do get a chance to scrapbook tomorrow, i feel the need for some inspiration, i have a touch of scrappers block. it will pass….i hope

11. What makes you really angry? nothing really. i get frustrated and annoyed but its not often i can say i have been really angry

12. If you could play an instrument what would it be? guitar, i always wanted to learn guitar but i am musically challenged
13. Favorite color? purple and pink
14. Sports car or SUV? 4×4 (is that an suv?)
15. What’s your favorite season? autumn, in fact this time of the year, when its not to hot but still not cold.

does no one in nz have lil davis

i have just spent nearly an hour online trying to find lil davis glitter glaze and i cant find any e-store in new zealand that stocks it. looks like i am going to have to go to aussie again. its just what i need for the layout i have in mind. i wonder if i could make it myself? mix some paint with dimenisional magic and glitter? might work if i can get the mix right. watch this space people…..if it works i’ll let you know. will give it a shot tomorrow. tonight i am going to curl up with my book and proably fall asleep with it still in my hands and the light still on. been happening a lot lately. if i cross my fingers and make a wish Katie might sleep tonight. this is me not holding my breath lol :0
