Just a few more days til the big man comes down the chimney and all through the house, is a mess actually lol. it will be a very small Christmas in our family this year, just Mum, Dad, Katie and I until my Aunty and her husband arrive for lunch. Its not normally like that here, normally we have a huge family gathering but the last few years everyone has somewhere else to be. We have a family coming just after Christmas for New Year but the day its self will be very quiet.
anyway time to do a bit of sharing, I finished Mum’s pressie last week and took photos before wrapping it up but forgot to take photos of the notebook and clipboard I made to go with the box, which I filled with goodies and a new scarf amongst other things. Sooo here is the finished items

I am so glad i got it finished and am pleased with how it looks. Mum is going to love it. I know this cos she caught a glimpse of it when I was putting the finishing touches on it lol. I told her to look the other way lol.
and i even found time to do a layout for Scrappin Patch’s December sketch challenge, just loved the sketch this month and here’s my take on it
I accidently smudged the Mister Hueys spray drops before they had a chance to dry so tried to incorporate it into the scheme lol…didn’t work to well but add a flat back pearl and a pearl heart to each drop and it almost looks like the smudge should be there. at least i hope so, nothing more annoying than putting the finishing touches on a layout and making a muck up.
now I need to put the subject of the above layout to bed, last day of school tomorrow, well half day away.
