sick of this
I have been sick on and off for almost 2 weeks and I am sick of being sick. I dont know what has caused this sudden down turn in my health and its wearing me out, I’m so tired all the time and in constant pain as well as the dizzy spells and heaviness and constant nausea.
My self pity meter is on high at the moment. I just want a normal life free of pain. its not going to happen, ever! and that is possibly the hardest thing to except. This is it…this is my life. Oh i might go into remission for a while but it will never be permanent.
and people keep giving me advice, like they know what its like trying to and live a normal life with this damn disease. I know, thats nasty but how could they know what its like to try and raise kids and do all the parent things when some days you can barely get out of bed? unless they have had to live through it, its impossible to really understand what daily life is like for me and my family.
ok theres my moan for the week…the cutest thing, Katie has just decided to put herself to bed. to cute!!
finished challenge
I cant believe i set the challenge and its taken me this long to do it…how bad is that? on my defense I have been really busy lately and havent done much scrapping, though i did find time to do another OTP project over the weekend, another box to put my bits and pieces in. Anyway here is my layout, let me know what you think…

A Challenge
Last night I was going through my scrap paper drawer looking for a certain piece of PP and had a thought. How many of us have a big pile of left over scrap that we never use? Personally I have a whole drawer full off off cuts and scraps of patterned paper and cardstock that for the most part just sits there gathering dust and I thought it would be great to set a challenge to see how many of you can come up with layouts using as many scraps as possible.
so heres the challenge, no prize involved just some fun and something differet to do. Create a layout using only left overs from your scrap pile. You can use one peice of new plain cardstock but everything else has to be out of the scrap bin. Try and use left over alphas and embellishments too. Something to get the creative juices really flowing
once you’ve finished upload it to your blog and leave me a comment to tell me where to find it.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with….watch this space for my layout.
Sharing latest project
Just thought i would share my latest project, a ribbon box! it was so much fun that i plan to do a couple more, i have so many ribbons in jars and containers all over the place i need about 10 of these funky boxes to keep them in.

isnt it cute? this could be a new addication, making ribbon boxes or maybe i can expanded into other sorts too, Katie could do with a funky box to keep her hair ties in lol…..might have to see what else Spotllight has in their box range.
another thing i have to share are these Love Elsie embellishments i got yesterday from MAZJEFF on trademe. they are the funkiest, coolest embellishments i have seen! going to have to add more to my collection. These ones wont last long, i am dying to use them!!!
